error "Waiting For Virtual Machine To Exit" in eclipse

* error "Waiting For Virtual Machine To Exit" in eclipse

When you have "Waiting For Virtual Machine To Exit" message and did not change any
progress , you might install "Axis2 Code Generator" in Eclipse.

In order to solve this problem, you should change ANT home setting in eclipse.
Because when you install "Axis2 Code Generator" in eclipse , it change the
ANT HOME setting.

So please go to "Window > Preference > Ant > Runtime". There will be "Ant Home Entires" part. You can confirm the jar files are from Axis2 plugin directory. This
is causing the problem so please click "Ant Home" button on the right side and
setting up ant home such as "D:\java\ant\apache-ant-1.7.0" directory and click OK

Thanks a LOT!! Have troubleshooted this for about a day wondering why nothing worked. And it's a long time since I installed the Axis-plugin, så I didn't think that was causing the trouble.

A thousands thanks man! I did not have Axis2 but it was set to a wierd plugin instead. I changed it to my own Ant-distribution and I also had to restart Eclipse before it started to work again.

That was really helpfull!!!
All of a sudden my working code broke and I was not able to figure it out. Even my build.xml did nothing.

Cheers!!

Hi, I too facing this issue in Eclipse Juno. First time deployment is good, when code is changed, the eclipse will automatically republish to OC4j server. At this time the eclipse fails to republish and says waiting for VM to exit.
Iam using jdk 6u27, Oc4j 10.1.3.5. If there is any solution please let me know.
